:: Transportation ::

1. Taxis

Buses serve larger towns and cities extensively but service may be irregular and the bus may be very crowded during peak hours.

3. Rail

Thailand has a good rail system connecting major cities.

4. Renting/Driving

Driving is on the left-hand side. Thailand has an extensive road system linking major cities. New road construction has greatly improved Bangkok's traffic congestion. While driving is permitted with an international driving license, car rental with chauffeurs is recommended.

5. Skytrain

The newly opened skytrain, with a station located next to the hotel, offers rapid service to major business and shopping districts.

6. Tuk-Tuk

A noisy, motorized three-wheelers with covered seats, the Tuk-Tuk is really only suitable for short journeys. Prices must be agreed beforehand.
